Description
It's been a while since the weather here in the Chicagoland area matched the calendar. With Spring being on-time, we're busy stocking our nursery with locally grown trees and shrubs - and making room for perennials that will be showing color in the next few weeks. Currently, we have ready-to-plant cold weather veggies, primroses, pansies, violas and a variety of spring tolerant annuals. Happy Spring (we're hoping it sticks around!)
Don't forget - we have mulch and straw bales to help with those muddy areas in your yard. We also have mulch, top soil and gravel in supply too.
New this year to the garden center with mulch more . . . is Leaf Mulch. Decomposed leaves make a great mulch. Easy to spread, rich dark color and loaded with nutrients. Your garden will love you!
Firewood is available for pickup or delivery. Our ready-to-burn firewood is dry and seasoned (stacking is available too!). Currently, we have mixed firewood and birch in stock. Don't forget our feathered friends - they love a treat - whether it's a bird bath to wet their whistle, a feeder with their favorite bird seed or a cozy (handmade) bird house to settle in.
